Alright and so i remember there was this thread a few weeks agone concerning quiet lighters...well technically there's no such thing just there are ways to make quite alternatives
This is directed to the amateur smokers who are new to smoking mostly, this is why i placed it in the apprentice tokers forum.

A simple and easy tip for amateur tokers

What you demand: Lighter, Candle (scented or un-scented)

Only light the candle, similar.. on the right

Then when you go to light, instead of having the Bic rolling sound, or a loud click from other lighters, all yous do is press the blood-red button for the gas, and hold information technology over the flame. then y'all get the quietest lighting you ever have.

+ flames are just nice

Other alternatives: Bee-wick Line

Promise this helps some of you amateur guys who are still learning, may be a lil paranoid..whatever it is, promise it helps. Simple and Easy tip

Get a hakko soldering iron. There will be no audio whatsoever. Not even the candle lighting.

There are Bic lighters that don't have the rolling function, but the button to click down. Not completely silent merely it is less obvious than the typical lighter sound.

The unequal between the bell and lighter dissonance is kind of substantial from my expiereiences.
The lgihter makes a precipitous and distinct noise, however a bell makes a low pitched... well you guys know. But the sound of a lighter penetrates walls and doors easier i Remember dont quote me.

Really just depends on well...the place your in. merely with bong's if at the least you get suspicion aroused, you could say y'all were drinking out of a canteen and you lot merely made a slurpy sound or bubbling sound or somethign.
with a lighter...its too distinct like you lot said.

Well seeing as how my walls are quite solid, the scent does not penetrate them in fact.
Put a towel under the door, open up all your windows, and if y'all have a fan stick it in a window.

My fan fits into my window almost perfectly, so if i merely open my windows and plow it on the smell is literally never in my room. As long as i continue in the fans wind current.

This is about dissonance not odour though, sorry op.

Only try to play some music while y'all toke then it covers up other noises a flake.

If someone that you could get caught by is close enough to bosom y'all on the sound of a lighter, what are the chances that y'all'll be able to pull off a sesh, fifty-fifty past yourself?

Also, smoking is supposed to exist relaxing and arctic. You shouldn't be stressing the whole fourth dimension and worrying nigh getting caught.
candles and beeline and soldering irons are all practiced for toking without inhaling butane and they make the gustatory modality better but if you are using those because you are concerned about the lighter noise getting you caught you will probably go caught from the smell. best bet is to become outside or in your auto or something.

I utilise to fire scented candles, run my ceiling fan, put a fan facing out and/or in, sometimes both, damp towel under the door, and a fabric softener toilet paper curlicue thing to blow through, and then you plough on the Telly/DVD Player, Games, something to cover up the sound of the lighter... Anybody turns up audio for a movie, I like to plow on a motion picture to smoke and picket.

What I do is fill my bowl for a single hit, and smoke right past the window. Then I can blow information technology out.

I might exist able to practise this while the family is asleep. The lighter is e'er my
main concern because sound usually wakes them upward and I can ready the bong loudness
trouble by keeping bare minimum water in information technology and milking it slowly.
